The monthly show was produced in collaboration with Nathaniel and Virginia, the owners of Urban Beans 24 hour Vegan Coffee Shop, and proprietors of The Aside Theatre on 7th St near Osborn in Phoenix, AZ.

In 2018, 2019, and the beginning of 2020, I was proud to present over 200 living, active artists in front of my iconic red curtain, and build a community of vaudeville supporters. We've had comedians, musicians, circus artists, monologues, mind-reading, and lots and lots of bananas. 

Why a Tuesday night? Two reasons--on Friday and Saturday nights, my performers are working at events and other shows. This is a night that many performers have off, and we can gather together and share new work, get some photos and video, or just catch up with our friends. And Tuesday nights give us the opportunity to use the wonderful space at The Aside Theatre.

It was a family venture--you'd often see my kid on stage with me, and my wife running sound just offstage. But the performers who have graced my stage, many of them local, others visiting from around the world, have become my local artistic family as well, and any successes we have on our stage is truly because of them.

Valley Variety is still happy to bring a show directly to your space. 

Valley Variety hits the road!

You can get a small show--one or two performers, with a mix of magic, juggling, music, and vaudeville comedy for 30 to 45 minutes. Great for small spaces or young audiences.
The small show is in the $400-600 range.

A medium show brings you 4 performers, our iconic red curtain, and lights, sound system, and stage manager. This budget-friendly show feels big and professional and can fill nearly any space. This show can easily be 60 minutes, and we will customize acts and duration for your audience.
The medium show is in the $800 to $1,200 range.

Our large show can get as large as you'd like. If you have a large event where you'd like a circus tent filled with amazing acts, or a theatre to fill with larger group performances, we can do that too. Let us know your wishes, and we'll make them come true.
​The large show will be quoted based on client requests.

This monthly show is presently on hold.

But I'm always looking for people who want to perform--actors, musicians, dancers, circus artists, improvisers, puppeteers, solos, duets, groups--as long as you have a family friendly 5 to 10 minutes, I hope to find a space for you soon.
